I absolutely love working with Julia! She’s amazing and truly cares about my needs. I’m in CrossFit 5-6 days a week. I was a complete newbie to the world of physical training before starting with Julia. For the first 23 years of my life I did basically zero physical exercise. The lockdown took a toll on my physical health, and so I decided I needed a change. I was very lucky to come across Julia, who took me in with patience and taught me the ABCs of fitness. The fact that she is always so encouraging and positive, means that I never felt self-conscious about my lack of ability and I was always motivated to do better. She has a very open personality and is very approachable, which means she will always answer your questions and explain why you are doing certain things. The mere fact that she made me enjoy physical activity which I used to loathe speaks volumes about her training style. Moreover, her attention to detail meant that she helped me improve on things I would have ignored otherwise such as the right posture when doing an exercise. I now feel much more confident to do exercise on my own!
General state of mind: I had not realised how much of a difference physical activity can make in terms of mental state. I now feel more confident and generally have a better state of mind. I work quite a lot and exercise has really helped me cope with everyday stress much better.
Improved general health: It’s hard to describe, but I generally feel better in my body. To be more specific, I have a lot of issues with headaches and changing my lifestyle (exercise with Julia + better diet) has improved this. My skin has also improved a lot. I used to have issues with acne and those are almost gone now.

I found Julia when I was really struggling with the effects of lockdown and a leg injury. She has helped me to improve my strength, mobility and overall fitness to get me back to a place where I’ve been able to start running again. Julia’s training sessions are varied, challenging and always fun. Julia's secret weapon is her sixth sense for knowing how to support your mental health as well as your physical training and she provides a bottomless supply of enthusiasm, support and encouragement that can’t help but leave you feeling more positive about yourself and your fitness.

Julia has a unique way of making you love and hate her at the same time. Her enthusiasm is infectious and whilst you are always ‘the boss of your own sauce’ she ensures you are pushing yourself and never lets you cheat! Her emphasis on posture has really helped me and I find myself checking my neutral spine and shoulders back when working out alone, too, now. I can’t recommend her enough; PT and motivational speaker, it’s a bargain really!

Julia is the most motivating, encouraging, and realistic coach anyone could ask for. As someone who was looking to cross- train and gain overall strength that was lacking from my main sport as an aerialist, Julia was able to not only incorporate aerial days into my training, but was also able to provide me workouts focused specifically on what I was good at or missing from my aerial routine. Julia is the first trainer Ive had who has looked at me as a whole person with likes and dislikes and a life outside of the gym, and made all of that a priority over "looking a certain way". Training with Julia is truly a gift.
